My new zealand flag design!

today for another day of easter holiday program I had to design a flag in my flag you can seee that there are a lot of black and white I put colors of black and white because it;s kind of like a color we always use and name things here in newzealand like our  rugby team are called the all blacks and for the red flower looking thing is actually a clover and I put that on my flag because a clover with four leavs means faith, hope, love and luck so everybody in new zealand can feel that they have faith, hope, love and luck.

Team 5 easter hoildays learning journey (Day 1 activity 3)

My 3 activitys I would do here in auckland.

1. I would like to go to aucklands biggest land mark rangitoto island that can be seen all over the city because I know it would be lovely to take a hike there and watch the sun set with my family and friends or probaly camp out there.

2. I would also love to go to the waitakere rangers to enjoy a tree top walk and just be out in the wilds and enjoying nature that is located in the west of auckland and would be a greaat place to be with family and enjoing the fresh air.

3. and finally I would love to go to piha beach with my family and friends because I've heard that it is a brilliant spot for experienced sufers and it would be a nice place to have picnics or probably a good place to go to if you would like to learn how to swim.

My 3 interesting facts about some of new zealands native birds.

• The cheerful and frisky kea is one of the most intelligent birds in the world and would gladly attack a sheep by standing on its back and shreading their skin.

• The beautiful tui is famous for it's out standing singing and white gorgeous parsons collar on their necks like a pom pom

• The adorable weka is a flightless bird that has a affection for shiny and beautiful objects.

Hi my name is laolao and today I had to take a picture of myself with a object that is special to me and explain why I would travel around the world with it.

why would take this bracelet around the world with me?
This braclet is very special because it belonged to my grandmother and it was given to me by my mum's sister which is my aunty. this braclet was worn many times by my grandmother in samoa and after she passed awaya few years ago it was my auntys and now mine I always love  to wear this braclet to church to remind me of my grandmother.
