Who is vincent van gogh

For my 3rd rotation of art I learned about Vincent van gogh and his famous artworks. 

For my task I had to create a poster about who Vincent va gogh is and write facts about him in my poster, It was very interesting learning about vincent van gogh and how inspiring he is to many people.

 

Water Worries

This week for Literacy we learnt about water pollution and for my task this week I have read a text about water pollution and I had to answer the questions about the text and write my T.E.E.L paragraphs and lastly write my infrence of short texts, It was very fun and interesting learning about Water pollution.

 

He aha te Taima?

Today for Te reo Our theme was He aha te Taima which means What is the time? For my task I had to memorise the new words that will help us with our work and then fill out the sentences with the correct word, It was very fun and i enjoyed learning new words in maori today.

 

For my create task in te reo I had to make a comic strip of the phrases I have learnt and make into a conversation it was fun.

10 fun and intersting facts about "The rock"

Today for inquiry I had to make a poster of 10 interesting and fun facts about the rock which is niue, because it is niuean language week.

 

Term 4 Art Alive and my goals!

 This year for term 4 the theme and korero is Art alive so we would be learning a lot about different types of Art, For example we might be looking at traditional and cultural art from around the world or more modern art that we see a lot around our community and in homes. For the last term of Me being a year eight I am looking foward to achieving and acomplishing many things in my learning and in my personal life, This term my goal is to work hard and focus on my learning to get to high standards and be at a level that I would like and be satisfied with knowing that I acomplished it and also make the most of my time as a year eight with my friends and class and make memories that I will carry along with me throughout my college years.

LIne Graphs in Action

Today for maths we looked at a graph of countrys around the world and their amount of covid 19 cases in the amount of 70 days and for our task we had to bullet point 4 or 3 things we can tell by this graph,This task was interesting and I enjoyed doing this task.

This week for maths we learnt about graphs again and for my task today there were questions in slides I had to answer about the graph that was next to it and when I completed my work I did my create task were I had to write 6 items and go around asking people the item that they prefer, It was very fun and I enjoyed doing this task.
