Today for maths we had to do a slide about percents, fractions,and decimals.

What makes a good person?

Are you a good person? If you want to be a good person to your friends or family, you have to have a good attitude against them and act like you care. Another thing you might do to be a good person is helping people even if you don’t know them, it's good to give somebody a hand.

Good attitude

Being a good person includes having a good attitude. For example when a family member or friend makes something for dinner don’t be mean because you don’t like what they made. So when you are going somewhere and somebody gives you something or when you are told to do something have a good attitude, be humble and be good.

Showing you care

To Show you are a good person is by showing you care. For example, if you are going to watch a movie and you don’t like it or understand it you can still clap for them at the end to show you care. So showing you care by clapping at the end of something a person did or when they say a joke and its not funny to you give them a smile or laugh because that shows you care.

Helping people

When you help a person do something it makes people happy that they got a helping hand. For example, if you see someone struggling with something you can help them out. It can involve lifting something heavy or when their upset you can be there to support them.

If you want to be a good person you got to have a good attitude, show you care and give somebody a hand because those little things can make other people feel happy and then you will feel happy.

ratio practice

This week for maths we did ratio's just for practice it was really easy and fun.

cheek cells

Cheek cells

Today room 4 were looking at cheek cells. We wanted to see what cheek cells would look like under the microscope.

Hypothesis
We will see some of the organelles in our cheek cells.

Equipment

lolly pop stick
slide 
sodium chloride
blue stain

Method

First we put the lolly pop stick inside of

our mouth and rubbed our cheek.

Then we wiped the lolly pop stick on the slide

Next we added a drop of sodium chloride on top of the slide

Finally we added a drop of methylene blue to stain the water blue. 

This meant that our slides were ready to go under the

microscope.

Observation

On the low magnification (10x) we could see tiny blue specs. We thought
these were our cells but we couldn't see any organelle.
On a higher magnification (100x) we could see the cell wall and nucleus
of a cheek cell.

Today in class we were talking about how k-pop is not a traditional dance in korea instead their tradititional dances are like more korean instead of hip hop and singing to pop songs. One of their traditional dances are called korean folk dances its more elegent and their always synchronize their dances. 

Immersion assembly

Term 4 immersion assembly 

This morning we had our schools immersion assembly are theme for this term was Lifes a stage it's all about drama and dance. We watched five videos and plays from each five teams my favourite one was the team five teachers because they had different kinds of dances and put them all in one. At the start it was an elagant hula dance and then hiphop and others.

Whats the point?
