Morning recount Shakespearean English Spring learning journey task

My morning written by me: 

This morning I woke to the to the wild cold breeze blowing the Mandarin tree outside my bedroom window, And the mouth watering smell of my mum's fresh pancakes making it's way to my nostril's. When I got out of bed I did my normal morning routine and clean my bedroom before I go have my breakfast, When I finished eating breakfast I continued cleaning my room and watch TV and movies with my brothers. And when it was almost the afternoon it became sunny and me and my aunty went for walk around our neighbour and the walk way near the reserve. 

Shakespearean English:

 This m'rning i did wake to the to the wild bitter cold breeze blowing the mandarin tree outside mine own bedroom window, and the that from which we speak wat'ring smelleth of mine own mum's green pancakes making t's way to mine own nostril's.  At which hour i did get out of sleep chamber i didst mine own n'rmal m'rning routine and crisp mine own bedroom bef're i wend has't mine own breakfast, at which hour i did finish eating breakfast i hath continued cleaning mine own cubiculo and gaze tv and movies with mine own broth'rs.  And at which hour t wast almost the aft'rnoon t becameth sunny and me and mine own aunty wenteth f'r walketh 'round our neighbour and the walketh way near the res'rve

The promise (Literacy)

Today for literacy we read a text called The promise and for my task today I had to answer the question about the text and do an activity about survival and then write my own idea of the ending of the story for my create task, My task was fun and the story was interesting and I enjoyed doing this task today for literacy.

This week for our Taha hinengaro task for te whare tapa wha my task was to create a video of emotions in new zealand sign language, This task was very fun and I enjoyed learning sign languge.

Covid wellness poster

Today for inquiry we worked in a group and planed a covid wellness plan, When we were done planning we got to think of a model we would use and make for our poster, My Covid wellnes poster has 4 topics Family relationship, Safety, Personal health and wellbeing and the lastly Nature/ Outdoor activities, When I got wrote down my topics for each part of the tree I coloured it and wrote bullet points for each topic, This task was very fun and interesting and I enjoyed making this covid wellness poster.

 

Fractions wk9 create task

 


For my create task for my maths fraction slides I had to make a google drawing writing step by step how I solved the slide then make a video, This task was fun and I enjoyed making the video and google drawing.

Today for maths I had to finish of my maths task from last week for my task I had to figure out fractions by adding missing fractions and writing equivalent fractions and writing simplest forms, My task was very fun and interesting learning equivalent fractions ,And writing the simplest forms of fractions.

Theseus and the Minotaur - Maths

 

Today for maths our task was based on the myth of Theseus and Minotaur for our task we had to watch a video of the myth and then read some short simple infomation and brief summarys of these 2 mazes we got to take a look at and answer the questions that were about the mazes and do the create task for it where I had to draw my own maze, After that we watched videos iving us a brief summary of the history of numerical system and solve basic facts writing it in achient greek, This task was very fun and simple and I enjoyed doing and learning this task.

Taha wairua: NZSL for Aotearoa

 Today for our Te whare tapa wha task our theme is Taha wairua and for our task today we have to take a photo of us doing the sign language for aoteroa and put the video in our post of the new zealand anthem with sign language. This task was very fun, easy and simple and I enjoyed making this post.

Tuvalu dance

 This morning we had visitors come and teach us a tuvalu traditional dance and some interesting facts about their country and they also told us a tuvaluan myth,  The first thing they did was introduce themselves to us and also give us some interesting facts and taught us some words from their culture we would need to remeber throughout the day.

When we did the dance I thought it was very fun and I enjoyed learning the tuvaluan dance they taught us and also the interesting fun facts that we have learnt there.

Taha wairua: Classroom items and colours in maori!


This morning for Te whare tapa wha our theme was taha wairua and since it's maori language week we had to make a poster teaching what these school objects and colors are in maori, This task was very fun and easy and I enjoyed making this poster.

Taha Hinengaro: Hikitia te Ha


Today for Te whare tapa wha the theme wasTaha Hinengaro and for our tasks today we had to write down three ways Hikitia te Ha can help us with our Taha hinengaro, I enjoyed doing this task.

Finding my place


Today for literacy we read a text called Finding my place and after we read the text we had to write a paragraph about what the text is about after we did that we moved on to a little bit of writing and did highlighting sentences, infrencing and we had to write a paragraph using T.E.E.l about why we belong, This task was fun and ineresting and I enjoyed doing the task.

Kei te pehea te ahua o te rangi? poster create task


Today for te reo my create task for my task is a poster of a comic strip I made about people saying the maori phrases that I learned in te reo.

The quest


 Today for literacy we read a text called The quest and then I had to answer the questions about the text on the next slide after that we went on to our writing work and we had to highlight sentences and describe them at the bottom next we did some infrencing and write a paragraph at the end to What makes a good leader,This task was fun and and the text was very interesting to read I enjoyed doing this task.

Taha tinana: 5 workout exercises


This morning for Te whare tapa wha our theme was taha tinana and for our task today I had to make a poster of me demonstating 5 workout exercising, I had to take a picture of myself doing the exercise from the beggining to the end of each one a write down next or at the bottom of the images how to do the exercise, This task was fun, simple, and easy and I enjoyed making this poster.

Kei te pehea te ahua o te rangi?


Today for te reo our theme is Kei te pehea te ahua o te rangi? which means what is the weather like today? Before we got started with our tasks we had to memorise the words in maori that we would need for our work on the secound slide and then after that we got started with our task, For my task today I had to practice the phrases that will help me and then move on to the next slide where I had to completethe responses in the speech bubbles using one of the words that were there for us on the slide, My task today for te reo was fun, simple and easy and I enjoyed doing it.

Polyfest- maori stage maths level 3 task

Today for maths we had to do three tasks that are diferent levels this is my secound task which is level 3 in the task I had to work out the maths questions that were given about polyfest, This task was very simple, easy and fun and I enjoyed doing this task.

Maori maths (Level 2)


Today for maths we had to complete three tasks that are different year levels this one is the first, easiest at around year 2 or 3 and in the task the questions were in te reo maori and we had to find out what it means or just use the google translator, This task was very fun simple and easy and I enjoyed doing the task.

Cross country!

Last week on Friday afternoon on a hot and sort of rainy day we held a cross country for our school it was very fun everybody dressed up in their house colours and some even wore a funky wig, On cross country we lined up in our lines sorted in our year and gender on the field and then the principle was saying an introduction and then the house captains where talking after that the groups started to run 1 by 1 and we cheered them on, on the side, cross country was very fun and I enjoyed running down the reserve and pushing my limits.

Taha whanau: Birthday occasion poster!


Today for t Te whare tapa wha our theme was Taha whanau and our task for today was to write or make a google drawing about special occasions that happen in your family or culture, I had made a poster about birthday celebrations in my family and culture and wrote down things that happen and after that I put in images of pictures related to my post.

Every day theatre: Family game production

On friday last week in the morning three classes in our team were lucky to have three people from a theatre company called every day theatre come and play a game with us but it was sort of an acting game and because where still in level 2.5 we were not allowed to play the game but sit back and watch them act.

In our class we had a lady named Soyasauce and she explained to us what we were going to do because of how the game is different because of covid, In our class we all sat in a cemi circle with space in between everybody and our game master Soyasauce was in the front acting, The game was actually preformed and it was like an interactive video game to play she had to act as characters from the script and we had to figure out what was wrong and how we can fix the situation in the game.

The game was very fun and it was the first time I have played a game like that, I enjoyed playing the game because every single person got to particitpate by shareing and communicating with eachother and we showed a lot of team work while playing the game.

Tongan Language week

This week is tongan language week and we have been learning alot about the tongan culture from sports, history and even speaking a little bit of their language in the day, The theme for tongan language week is "Fakaloa 'o Aotearoa Aki 'a e Lotu Mo' oni" which means enriching aotearoa new zealnad through prayer and faith, Tongan people use wisdom spirituality and collective living  as a bases which to contribute to society, Tongan people use Love, Respect and Humility in their living and identity, 
Tonga is the only country in the south pacific to never have been colonised by a foreign power and still has it's own monarchy.

Taha tinana: Sports in tonga


Today for te whare tapa wha our theme was taha tinana so for our task today we had to watch a video of sports in tonga and right some facts in the google drawing, This task was very interesting and I enjoyed learning it.

Today in maths I had to make my create task video explaining how I solved the answer to slide 8 question 2 of the word problems, (My video is on the last slide), I enjoyed making the video for my create task.

Tapa cloth (Maths wk8)


This week for my maths task I learnt how to work out with dimensions and areas from the tapa cloth, For my task I had to find out the approximate for the width, height and answer more questions about the tapa cloth by working it out, This task was very tricky and I enjoyed doing this task.

He aha te tae o te makawe? Create task


Todayin te reo we learnt the names of colours in maori and for my create task I had to make a comic strip of a conversation from what I have learnt, This activity was very fun and I enjoyed making it

He aha te tae Makawe


Today for Te reo maori our theme is He aha te tae Makawe which means what colour is your? (Hair)
In our task today we learnt colours in maori and we had to memorise it and then fill out the blank words with the correct colour but in maori. This task was very fun and I enjoyed learning new words in te reo maori.

The battle of the shark and the octopus summary

Summary:
The story "The battle of the shark and the octopus is about a Fijian god named "Takuaka" he is the god of the reefs and since hes a god he can shift into a shark (anga) and travel from island to island andchalenging other gods, One day Tauvaka went to an island and chalenged another god and he easily won so he went on and on chalenging gods untill he chalenged a feke (Octopus) and Takuaka was losing to the feke so he swore to the feke that if he lets him go he won't harm any people for the rest of time.

Today for te whare tapa wha our theme today was taha hinengaro for my task today I had to pick a tongan proverb and draw a picture for the proverb I picked out, This task was very fun and I enjoyed making it.

Today for Literacy we read a textcalled Time wrap and it was really interesting and we had to fill out the questions about the text then after that for a little bit of grammar we had to Highlight subjects and verbs of a clause and write a paragraph at the bottom of the last slide.

Te reo: color and object


Today for my create task for my te reo task I had to make a comic strip of colors and objects that i've learnt in maori I had to get images of objects that I have chosen that is colored and write down in maori and english what the object and color is this task was very fun and I really enjoyed learning new words in maori today for te reo.
