Term 3 Imersion Assmebly

It was a normal monday we had to go back to school and there was a delisious smell coming from the hall while we where walking to the hall wondering what that delisious smell is it was our principle mr burt and the other teachers BBQ sea food because our theme for the term is something in the water.

When mr burt and the other teachers where BBQ sea food  the prefects got samples of fish and prawns and handed them out to kids that where setting nicely but sadlley I didn't get one and then it was time to watch team 1s movie it was about all the tam one tearchers drive down to point england reserve and look at some sea creatures and pick up some plastic to tell us not to dump your rubish on the ground because we could lose all our sea creatures.

The next video we watched was from team 2 thier video was about them going to a different reserve and feeding the ducks on the grass. Then they where looking at the shells with thier magnifing glass to see them closely. And then we watched team 2 movie it was  about a sea protecter that was looking for a new person to look after the bay while shes on a vacation.

And next was team 4 video thier video was about thier teachers going to the beach and looking at some creatures you normaly don't see in the water. And finally team 5 sang a song about cells.

The immesion assembly was really fun I am looking foward about learning biology.

What I know about science so far.

Today for the first day of the term we wrote down a brain storm on paper with words and things we know about science and scientists so far. On my paper I wrote down some words that discribe what a scientist do I wrote: Exsperients, Discovering, Searching, Collecting data, Exspirenting on extinct animals and others.

The history of pizza

Pizza first began in ancient cultures that was made of basic flat breads and toppings. Modern pizza was made in naples when tomato was added to the focaccia in the late 18th century, when the naples made a dish called pizza they fed it to the poor neapolitans. When the neapolitans get their food they would eat it while they walked and that's why they called it street food.  Focaccia was known to the romans.

Pizza in the united states of america is really popular. California style pizza uses a dough base similar to the New York style pizza and changes up the pizza by using unusual and uncommon ingredients. Chicago’s deep dish pizza. In the early 1940s, there was a pizza shop called pizzeria uno in chicago that created the famous deep dish pizza which has deep crust that is similar to a large pie pan and metal cake.

The world’s biggest pizza was made by dovilio nardi, andrea mannocchi, marco nardi, matteo nardi and matteo giannotte in rome, italy on december the 13th in 2012. In 2001 pizza was delivered to space and the russian agency was paid more than a million bucks to deliver a six inch pizza to the international space station.

Pizza is an amazing food to have at any time it began a long time ago when the Romans were still alive people have been creating new and better pizzas in their kind of style and some people can do some really crazy things with pizza.

Laolao I like your latitude scratch

This term we created our animations by using code on scratch. The reason we are using code
is because this term our theme is I like your Latitude so we are making a DLO about countries all around the world by using facts and telling people about this country.  So we learnt about coding and about different countries. When I made my animation on Scratch I made sure that I was also writing down my facts about the country including the coordinates of this country. The three continents that I picked were Africa, America and Australia.

why are school holidays important.

Why are school holidays important ?

We need school holidays to have a break from learning and rest our brains.
School holidays are good for kids to help them be kids while there still kids
and enjoy their age.

School holidays help kids grow confident and talk more clearly by spending
more time with family and that helps kids make friends at school. But school
helps kids get a good education by learning but sometimes kids just need
a break.

School holidays help students at school rest and have a break and when they
come back to school there refreshed and ready to start a new day of learning.
Kids can learn things at home in the holidays that will help them at school
sometimes it’s an inspiring life lesson that they will carry with them till they
are older.

When kids are at home in the holidays they can help their parents do chores or
help them cook and that's really important for kids because it helps them achieve
what they want to be when they grow up like being a famous chief, and when
they go back to school they will learn and focus on being what they want to
be when they grow up and focus on the challenges towards their future.

School holidays are important for kids to have a break and enjoy their life
while there still young school holidays help kids step out of their comfort
zone and achieve great things and it’s really important for students to have an
opportunity to spend time with their family and focus on great goals for the future.
