Today I had to write down a list of 10 things My family do to show te taha whanau when we are together.

1. during dinner time.

2. when I go to church with family and pray.

3. Family trips to special places.

4. Doing chores around the house together.

5. Praying with our family at home.

8. Going on vacation to samoa.

A rock and a hard place.

Today we read a book called A rock and a hard place. The book is about a boy who loves rugby but he has to make a decision to chose whether he wants to support the team from the country he was born in (South Africa) called Springboks or the country he lives in now (New Zealand) whose team is the All Blacks.

It is very hard for him to chose between his home country and his new country here in new Zealand where everyone says the best team is the All Blacks. After talking to lots of people about it and getting lots of different answers, he looked at his orange and white cat and found the answer! He realised that because the cat is two colours, he should be able to support two teams.

This week another part of my homework was I had to write about a member of my family who I think is a hero, someone who is good at helping others get through hard times someone who shows the way enjoy.

first day of tech 2020

First day of Tech 2020

Today in the morning we had our first tech day for 2020 the first thing we did was we walked down to tamaki college in our group lines waited tell our tech teacher picked us up when we got moved into our classrooms for tech I was really excited and nervous everygroup has a different subject for tech ours was science the first thing weve done was we had to watch about a video of kids science projects and wrote it down on a piece of paper weve been given, we had to write down some of the kids project and and tell the teacher witch one was the most interesting to us and why.

when we finished the first task we moved on to the next, the next project we did was we have been given a big piece of paper and folded it into 4 quarters when we did that we moved on to the next step with our big piece of paper in each box was an topic the topic in one of the boxes we had to write down what we thought were clever science words, the next box we had to write a question that we would want a scientist to anwser then we moved down to the next two boxes in the first one of those boxes we had to draw things that we think is science and next to that we have been given a picture and we had to write down what about this picture is science when we acompleshed all those things we were ready to tidy up and go back to meet with the other groups.

My Highlights about tech today, Tech was really fun and interesting for me and when I go of to college science would be one of my subjects.

Task description: today for maths we got splited up into groups of four, when we got splited into our groups of four and started to work when I was in my group we had to think of numbers that all equal 15 in every angle.

I go to point england school and im a year 8 I have the best teacher miss Stone, I am full samoan I love to represent my culture, going to church and my religon is very important to me and my family.

My Hobbies, My favourite things to do are reading, playing neball and art these three things are my favourite things to do because I love to read exspisally chapter books and real life facts about living things around the universe and wild life, netball is one of my favourite things to do because it's my favourite sport and it keeps me active, and lastly art is one of my favourite things because it is relaxing and very interesting to me.

My Goals, this year my goals that I'm going to be working hard on is learning because I love it when I get a good mark and reach higher levels from where I am now. My other goals this year would be acheiving new things.
